NHS England are seeking two patient, carer, public expert advisors to join their Mental Health Independent Advisory and Oversight Group, chaired by Paul Farmer, Chief Executive of Mind.
- The group provides oversight of the delivery of commitments in the mental health strategy document, the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health.
- The group will provide input to help deliver ambitions for improving mental health services for people of all ages and in all parts of the country.
- The group will have an important role in the development of the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) Improvement and Assessment Framework for mental health.
- Members of the group include representatives from the voluntary sector, NHS Trusts, commissioners and professional bodies.
