Free to attend local campaign meeting set up to help change people’s attitude and behaviour around mental health stigma
In partnership with Time to Change a local campaign open meeting is being held Friday 01 September 2017, Attenborough Hall, City Hall, Charles Street, Leicester LE1 1FZ.
Time to Change is a growing movement of people changing thinking and actions around mental health problems. At the heart of the campaign are local Champions, communities, organisations taking action to change people’s attitude and behaviour around mental health stigma.
The meeting is free to attend and will include a light lunch.
Highlights of the meeting include:
- Hearing from Time to Change about their focus and plans for sustainability
- Sharing ideas for future activities
- Using lived experience and expertise to work with Leicester Time to Change Campaign Group to help shape a local action plan which will tackle isolation, shame and stigma.
- Setting up your own local Champions Campaign groups
