Ancient African Presence in Cornwall Summer Weekender

The Leicester Black History Consortium and Ancient Future present ‘The Ancient African Presence in Cornwall Summer Weekender’.

This is a once in a lifetime experience linking Ancient Britain with African History in the magical land of Cornwall.

Over the course of the weekend you will be taken on a historical journey from the ancient prehistoric world into the modern era exploring the mystical relationship between Africa and Europe, and delve into the Ancient Mysteries of Cornwall and its African and Moorish connections.

You will have the opportunity to visit ancient stone sites, landmarks and museums in the region. There will also be a series of interactive presentation workshops as part of the weekend.

Luxury accommodation is provided in a prime location conveniently positioned for touring the whole of Cornwall. The accommodation is self-catering, a vegetarian/continental breakfast is included and a shared meal option for dinner will be encouraged.

Ticket prices are standard £275.00, or early bird £250.00 (only 4 early bird tickets available). A deposit of £150.00 will be required.

The ticket price includes: breakfast, board, workshops, site visits and transportation.
